Overview

The TRYBE DiMA1000 is a distance-first mounted LRF, not a full ballistic computer. It belongs in the catalog because it gives a real Picatinny-mountable rifle workflow with an OLED display, roughly 1,000 m / 1,093 yd ranging capability, and remote-switch operation at a much lower price than the ballistic rail LRFs. Recommend it only when the user will run drop/wind through a separate app, dope card, or compatible TRYBE L.E.O. optic.

Key Features

  • Mounts to Picatinny accessory slots with included 30 mm ring
  • OLED range display
  • Remote switch support for fingertip ranging
  • ID Technology sharing with TRYBE L.E.O. 1-8x24 riflescope
  • Compact 8 oz package

Pros

  • +Much cheaper than ballistic weapon-mounted LRFs
  • +Remote-switch operation keeps the shooter behind the rifle
  • +Simple distance-first workflow is easier than app-heavy solver units
  • +Good budget DMR/range-day experiment option

Cons

  • No onboard ballistic solver listed
  • Shorter ranging capability than premium precision LRFs
  • Most useful when paired with a separate solver or compatible TRYBE optic
