Overview

The B-14 Ridge is the rifle Bergara built to put a HMR-grade barrel into a hunting-weight stock at a price that competes with Tikka and Browning. The 4140 CrMo barrel is the same blank Bergara uses across the B-14 line, with the same sub-MOA factory accuracy guarantee. The molded composite stock has a soft-touch finish, an aluminum pillar bed, and a vertical-grip profile that shoots from bags and barricades better than a traditional sporter stock without sacrificing field carry.

The Ridge runs a Remington 700 footprint, which means the entire 700 aftermarket of triggers, chassis, scope bases, and stock options drops in if you decide to upgrade. The factory trigger is acceptable, around 3 to 4 pounds, but a TriggerTech Primary is the obvious next step if you want a match-grade pull. Threaded muzzles are 5/8x24 on most configurations, including the .308, 6.5 Creedmoor, .30-06, and .270 versions, so a suppressor or brake mounts without sending the barrel out.
