SB Tactical FS1913 Folding Pistol Stabilizing Brace

The SB Tactical FS1913 is the default 1913 folding brace and the one every other 1913 brace gets compared against. It bolts directly to any 1913 Picatinny rear interface, no separate adapter needed: Sig MPX/MCX/Rattler pistols, Rock River LAR-PDS, Stribog with the factory 1913 adapter, Scorpion with the HBI 1913 adapter, and the Springfield Kuna. The brace folds to the left side and locks in both extended and folded positions through a steel hinge.

Construction is a steel hinge mated to SB Tactical's high-strength polymer strut, with an adjustable nylon strap that wraps the shooter's forearm for stabilization. Total weight is 10 ounces, overall length is 9.6 inches, and the maximum width is 1.2 inches. The strut runs straight back from the hinge with no telescoping mechanism, so length of pull is fixed.

For most builds the FS1913 is the right pick: it is the cheapest brace in the universal-1913 ecosystem, the polymer strut keeps weight 3 ounces lower than the aluminum FS1913A, and the fold profile is tight against the receiver. If you need maximum hinge rigidity for a heavier host, the FS1913A aluminum strut is worth the upgrade. If you need adjustable LOP, look at the TF1913 or A3 HDA3 instead.
