SB Tactical FS1913A Aluminum Folding Pistol Stabilizing Brace

The SB Tactical FS1913A is the aluminum-strut version of the FS1913. The hinge is the same steel mechanism, the brace cuff is the same polymer, and the 1913 mount is identical. The only change is a 6061 aluminum strut in place of the FS1913's polymer strut, and that single change is what justifies the $40 price bump and the 3-ounce weight gain.

Aluminum strut means less flex under cheek pressure, less wobble in the extended position, and more durability over a long round count. Total weight is 13 ounces and overall length is 9.25 inches, slightly shorter than the polymer FS1913. Compatibility is the same: any 1913 Picatinny rear interface, including the Sig MPX, MCX, Rattler, Rock River LAR-PDS, Stribog with factory 1913 adapter, and CZ Scorpion with the HBI 1913 adapter.

Choose the FS1913A over the FS1913 when the host is a heavier rifle-caliber pistol (5.56 AR pistol with 1913 EAR, .300 BLK SBR), when the brace will see hard use, or when you specifically dislike the slight flex of the polymer FS1913. For lightweight 9mm PCC builds the polymer FS1913 saves weight and money without giving up much real-world performance.
