Brello Solutions Beretta Cx4 Storm Forced Reset Trigger

Brello Solutions makes the only forced reset trigger built for the Beretta Cx4 Storm. The kit is not a drop-in. It ships two replacement triggers, a pre-modified carbon steel sear, a 4140 steel lifting cam, a bolt notch cutting template, and a magazine catch cover, and it requires the owner to cut a permanent notch into the bolt roughly 10mm behind the existing magazine catch notch. The included template guides the cut, which Brello says a carbide Dremel bit will complete.

That notch is the whole mechanism. The lifting cam rides in it and props the trigger up while the bolt is out of battery, so the hammer physically cannot fall until the bolt returns and the cam drops into its locating notch. The result is a trigger that is forced back to reset by the blowback cycle rather than by the shooter's finger, which is what tightens splits. The gun stays semi-automatic: one round per trigger function.

Two caveats come straight from Brello. The bolt cut is permanent and irreversible, so a Cx4 that gets this kit is a Cx4 that has it forever. And Brello states it does not currently recommend the kit with Papa Sierra trigger housings, an established aftermarket trigger upgrade on the platform, and tells owners to use the polymer housing if they still have it. Owners running non-standard housings are asked to send a photo so Brello can advise whether the kit will work. Brello also offers an optional reversible step: filling the magazine catch notch with epoxy improves reliability and eliminates hammer follow concerns, and it polishes back out.

Forced reset triggers are restricted or banned in 16 US jurisdictions and Brello will not ship into them. Confirm your own state's law before ordering.
