The Mini-14 factory trigger is the part of the rifle most owners want to fix first, and a complete drop-in trigger group does not exist for the platform the way Geissele and LaRue groups exist for AR-15s. The M*CARBO Trigger Spring Kit is the closest thing the Mini-14 platform offers to a drop-in trigger upgrade: a reduced-power trigger spring, a reduced-power hammer spring, and a polished plunger spring that together cut the factory trigger pull weight by approximately 30%, dropping a typical 7 lb factory pull to roughly 5 lb.

Install is a 15-minute bench job. Pull the trigger group from the receiver, drift the trigger and hammer pins, swap the springs, reassemble. M*CARBO's installation video is the canonical reference. The kit does not change the trigger geometry, the sear engagement, or the reset distance, so factory creep and reset characteristics remain.
