Overview
The assembled M5 upper is the conventional threaded receiver in Aero's large-frame line. Its .210-inch DPMS High tang aligns with matching high-profile rails, and its 1 7/16-16 barrel-nut thread accepts the standard DPMS-threaded handguard path modeled by this builder.
The forward assist and ejection-port door arrive installed, but the barrel, rail, carrier, and charging handle remain separate choices. The receiver is not compatible with Aero's direct-mount M5E1 Enhanced handguard.
