The STT-15 Forged Stripped Upper Receiver is San Tan Tactical's conventional receiver body, sold below the brand's billet PILLAR uppers. It is a forged aluminum flat-top finished in black anodizing, cut to accept standard AR-pattern components, and built in Arizona alongside the rest of the STT-15 line.
This is the plain-profile option in San Tan's catalog. It carries none of the truss-pocket machining or deleted-housing tricks of the billet STT-15L, and San Tan publishes no weight figure for it, so treat it as a standard forged receiver on the build sheet. What it offers is San Tan's manufacturing and lifetime warranty at forged-receiver pricing.
It ships stripped. The barrel, gas system, handguard and barrel nut, bolt carrier group, charging handle, forward assist, and ejection-port cover are all separate line items.
