Scalarworks PEAK Iron Sights

The Scalarworks PEAK Fixed Iron Sights were born from a collaboration with Larry Vickers, who challenged Scalarworks to create the ultimate fixed iron sights for a fighting carbine. The result is a set of sights that combines Scalarworks' renowned precision engineering with purpose-built design choices that address the shortcomings of traditional AR-15 iron sights. Machined from 7075-T6 aluminum billet, these are the lightest fixed iron sights in existence while maintaining uncompromising strength.

Unlike most iron sights designed around the M16A2's 20-inch sight radius, the PEAK sights are specifically optimized for modern 15-inch carbine sight radii. The front sight post is CNC machined to the correct width for this shorter distance, non-rotating for finer adjustment, and flat-faced to eliminate highlight bias that can throw off aim in varied lighting. The rear aperture features a face engineered to mitigate light glare, naturally drawing focus to the absolute center.

Both elevation and windage adjustments feature refined 0.5 MOA per click precision - matching the adjustment increment of most red dot sights for intuitive zeroing. The streamlined profile is completely free of protruding levers and knobs that could catch on gear or rap knuckles during manipulation. Type III anodizing and Nitride treatments provide excellent corrosion and wear resistance.
