Manticore Arms Brass Buster Brass Deflector for Steyr AUG

The Steyr AUG ejects brass forcefully and close to the shooter's face. In left-shoulder transitions or tight cover positions, that ejection pattern can send hot brass exactly where you do not want it. The Manticore Arms Brass Buster is a drop-in polymer deflector that snaps over the stock behind the ejection port and redirects ejected brass forward instead of straight out the side.

Installation is a few minutes with no permanent modification to the rifle and no tools required. The deflector hooks over the stock behind the ejection ports and rotates into place. Construction is impact-resistant polymer intended for repeated brass impact at normal ejection force.

This is a niche fix but a real one for left-handed AUG owners and for shooters who have run the rifle in restrictive positions where right-side brass ejection caused problems. Right-handed shooters running the rifle on the range in open positions probably do not need it. The deflector also reduces brass ricochet off shooting bench dividers, which makes it a useful addition for indoor range use.
