Manticore Arms Brass Buster Brass Deflector for Steyr AUG

The Steyr AUG ejects brass forcefully and at close range to the receiver, which on a right-handed shooter sends casings 4-6 feet to the right but on a left-handed shooter or in tight cover positions can land hot brass on the support hand or in the optic well. The Manticore Arms Brass Buster is a drop-in polymer deflector that bolts to the receiver and redirects ejected brass downward and forward instead of straight out the side.

Installation is a few minutes with no permanent modification to the rifle. The deflector mounts to existing screw holes on the receiver and stays out of the way of optic mounting and accessory rails. Construction is impact-resistant polymer rated for repeated brass impact at full ejection force.

This is a niche fix but a real one for left-handed AUG owners and for shooters who have run the rifle in restrictive positions where right-side brass ejection caused problems. Right-handed shooters running the rifle on the range in open positions probably do not need it. The deflector also reduces brass ricochet off shooting bench dividers, which makes it a useful addition for indoor range use.
