Seekins's Select uses a long detented adjustment screw with fine pitch, giving the shooter granular control over gas flow without the gross click-stop progression found on cheaper blocks. The 40-position range is more than most shooters will need, but it allows precise tuning for specific suppressor and ammunition combinations.

The block fits standard .750 inch journal barrels and uses set-screw mounting as standard, with a factory-drilled pilot hole that allows a gunsmith to cross-pin the block to the barrel for permanent installation.
