Vortex
Lightweight Razor HD LHT in 4.5-22x50 FFP form with 30mm tube, XLR-2 reticle, 22.4 MRAD elevation, and a 21.7 oz weight built for hunters who dial.
The Razor HD LHT 4.5-22x50 FFP is the scope that closes the gap between a hunting optic and a precision rifle scope. At 21.7 ounces it is roughly 10 ounces lighter than a Razor HD Gen III and 8 ounces lighter than a Viper PST Gen II, but the 75 MOA elevation budget, exposed locking elevation turret with RevStop zero stop, and XLR-2 MOA or MRAD FFP reticle keep it credible past 1,000 yards on .308 and 6.5 Creedmoor profiles.
The 30mm tube and 50mm objective save weight and let the scope sit low in standard rings on a hunting action. Parallax adjusts down to 20 yards for varmint work and the 4-inch eye relief is generous for high-recoil cartridges. The capped windage turret hides from brush and pack straps, which matters more than turret feel when the rifle is slung on a six-mile pack out.
Where this scope wins over an ATACR 4-16x42 F1 is weight: pack it into a long backcountry hunt and you will notice the ten-ounce difference every step. Where it loses is to the ATACR's 89 MOA elevation if you intend to shoot past 1,300 yards on smaller cartridges. For a Tikka, Bergara, or Christensen hunting rifle that will see 90% field use and 10% range work, it is the scope to beat.
