Elbit Systems of America is the other US-built premium NVG tube source alongside L3Harris. The Elbit PVS-14 ships with an Elbit Gen 3 unfilmed white phosphor tube and is generally available through civilian-channel dealers at $5,500-$6,500 depending on FOM and inventory.
Elbit tubes characteristically run lower published FOM than L3Harris equivalents (civilian-channel typical 2000-2300 vs L3Harris 2200+) but make up the ground on halo and SNR — visual quality differences between high-FOM Elbit and high-FOM L3Harris units are often imperceptible in field use. The right buy if the deal on offer is meaningfully cheaper than the comparable L3Harris unit, or if a dealer specifically stocks a high-FOM Elbit unit.
