The Gideon Optics Omega is an open-emitter RMR-pattern optic with a 27mm-wide by 22.3mm-tall window. Buyers can choose a red or green 3 MOA dot, or a red or green 45 MOA circle surrounding the same 3 MOA center dot. The broad window and selectable reticles suit competition, range, and full-size carry pistols where a larger sight picture matters more than minimum bulk.
The Omega uses a top-loading CR1632 battery rated for up to 50,000 hours, so battery changes do not require removing the optic. Ten brightness levels include two night-vision settings. Windage and elevation each adjust through 45 MOA at 1 MOA per click, and the IPX7-rated 7075-T6 aluminum housing weighs 1.6 oz.
