Overview

The CZ P-10 C Ported is the budget answer to the comp-carry trend. CZ took the proven P-10 C compact platform and added a 4-inch barrel with port cuts that vent gas upward through matching slide cuts, reducing muzzle rise at a fraction of the price of a comped 2011 or premium polymer comp gun. The cold-hammer-forged barrel is 10 percent heavier than the standard P-10 C barrel, which also flattens the recoil impulse.

The pistol carries the same fully ambidextrous controls, swappable backstraps, and 15+1 magazine capacity as the standard P-10 C. The optic-ready slide accepts Shield RMSc, RMR, and 507C footprints (with plates), so most modern carry red dots mount directly. CZ also offers a higher-end P-10 C Ported COA variant with the Aimpoint COA enclosed optic factory-installed for $1,179, but the base ported model at $529-$549 is the value play in this category.

For shooters who want recoil reduction without spending $1,000-plus on a Shadow Systems or Staccato, the P-10 C Ported is the budget benchmark. The trigger is rougher than the SIG P365 X-Macro Comp or Equalizer Carry Comp factory triggers, but Cajun Gun Works produces drop-in upgrade kits that bring it in line for under $100.
