Foxtrot Mike Mike-9 Ambi 16" Front Charge Rifle

The Foxtrot Mike Mike-9 Ambi is the feature-rich straight-blowback pick of the AR-pattern 9mm field. FM Products replaces the traditional M4 charging handle with a four-position ambidextrous non-reciprocating front charging handle, and pairs it with a conventional AR-15 lower layout that takes standard mil-spec safeties and grips and an AR-pattern fire-control pocket. As on any straight-blowback PCC, pick a PCC-rated trigger rather than assuming every AR group drops in. The 16-inch barrel is 41V50 match-grade steel, vacuum stress relieved and melonite coated with a honed chamber, threaded 1/2x28 behind a four-port compensator.

The monolithic upper is the platform's distinguishing feature. FM achieves it through a proprietary interlock between the billet upper receiver and the 15-inch pic-rail delete M-LOK free-float handguard, which keeps the optic rail and the forend on one rigid unit.
