Factory 10.5" SBR variant of the MARS-L with Monolithic Rail Platform quick-change barrel and PDW stock
0-10 Scale Across 8 Axes
The LMT MARS-L CQB MRP 10.5" PDW packages LMT's Monolithic Rail Platform and fully ambidextrous lower into a factory short-barreled rifle. The monolithic upper anchors a quick-change 10.5" chrome-lined barrel to the same receiver, so a torque wrench and barrel nut tool let owners swap barrels and calibers without losing zero. The PDW stock keeps overall length under 30 inches collapsed, which is the configuration the New Zealand Defence Force pulled from for vehicle and CQB roles.
The rifle ships with true ambidextrous controls (bolt catch, magazine release, safety) and LMT's enhanced bolt carrier, the same parts that anchor the 16" MARS-L. The shorter gas system and 1/2x28 muzzle threads make it a credible suppressor host out of the box. Compared to a Form 1 SBR build off a 16" rifle, the factory SBR skips the pin-and-weld math and lands at a known, tested gas curve.
Pricing puts it in the premium SBR tier alongside HK MR556 SBR configurations and KAC SR-15 CQB. The MRP system is the differentiator: nothing else at this price point offers a true quick-change barrel from a monolithic upper.
