ATI Strikeforce Gen 2 Tactlite Stock for Ruger Mini-14/30

The ATI Strikeforce Gen 2 Tactlite is the value path from a factory wood Mini-14 stock to AR-style ergonomics. The receiver bedding is a one-piece polymer shell with a steel spine, a six-position collapsible tube on a 1913 buffer-tube interface, an integrated A2-style pistol grip, and a side-folding hinge that drops overall length to about 27 inches for vehicle and pack carry. The Scorpion recoil pad on the Gen 2 update is a real upgrade over the Gen 1 plastic butt; sustained 5.56 strings stop bruising shoulders.

Drop-in install means no gunsmithing. Pull the trigger group, lift the action out of the factory stock, drop it into the Strikeforce, torque the trigger-guard screws to 35 in-lb. Both the 580-series Ranch and Tactical fit. The forend has integrated M-LOK slots for a light or sling mount, and the rear of the receiver is wrapped enough to hide the original wood-stock cutouts.

The tradeoff is weight. At about 56 oz the Strikeforce adds nearly a pound over a factory wood stock, mostly in the buffer tube and folding hinge hardware. Owners chasing a precision-rifle setup will prefer the Archangel AAMINI fixed stock; owners chasing patrol-rifle ergonomics on a budget will not find a cheaper way to get there.
