The Springfield Hellion's factory five-position adjustable stock is functionally fine but visually bulky and adds comb height that some owners find uncomfortable for cheek weld with low-mounted optics. The Stinc Springfield Hellion Low Profile Stock replaces the factory unit with a fixed-LOP SLS nylon stock that maintains the rifle's overall length while reducing visual bulk and lowering the comb.

The trade-off is the loss of LOP adjustment. The Stinc stock is fixed at minimum LOP, which is a positive for shorter shooters and armor wearers but a negative for anyone who used the longest LOP position on the factory stock.
