Overview
This is the nickel boron version of White Label Armory's M16 bolt carrier group. The carrier is 8620 steel in the full-mass M16 profile and the bolt is 9310 steel, shot peened and magnetic particle inspected; both, along with the billet 4130 gas key and the 4140 cam pin, are finished in polished nickel boron. The firing pin is 8640 steel with hard chrome, and the billet 4140 extractor stays phosphate.
Nickel boron is a slick, light-colored coating that sheds carbon with a rag and needs less lubrication than nitride or phosphate, which is why builders choose it for suppressed or high-round-count rifles. Like the nitride version, it uses a staked gas key with Grade 8 fasteners, ships with the extractor insert and Viton O-ring, and fits any AR-15 with a .223 bolt face barrel.
