Haley Strategic
D3CRX layout sized for 7.62x51. Four .308/SR25/M14/FAL pouches with shock cord that drops down to take 5.56 when you swap platforms, plus a front zippered GP with admin sleeve.
The Haley Strategic D3CRH is the heavy-caliber sibling to the D3CRX. Same MIL-SPEC 500D nylon construction, same Berry-compliant US manufacture, same Haley aesthetic — but with rifle pouches sized specifically for 7.62x51 magazines. Four pouches accept SR25, AR-10, M14, and FAL magazines without the wedging-and-cramming that smaller rigs require when forced to take a .308 mag.
The clever piece is the adjustable shock cord retention. The pouches are sized for 7.62x51 at full extension, but the shock cord tensions down to grip 5.56, 5.45, and 7.62x39 magazines as well. A shooter who runs a .308 platform for hunting and a 5.56 platform for class days can use the same rig for both by retensioning the cord.
The body adds a large front zippered general-purpose pouch with an admin sleeve sewn inside. The GP pouch is sized to take an AR-10 drum magazine, a small radio, or a Glock 17 first-line med kit. The admin sleeve handles loose paperwork, multitools, or pen-and-pad essentials.
Body weight is 14.1 oz without harness — only 1.5 oz heavier than the D3CRX despite the larger mag pouches and GP pocket. Harness is sold separately at $50 for either an X-Harness (dynamic) or H-Harness (static) configuration.
OpticsPlanet did not stock the D3CRH at the time of this listing (the D3CRX is on OP under AWIN, but the D3CRH was not). Haley-direct is the verified path. The Haley lineup also includes the D3CRM Micro Chest Rig for pistol-only loadouts and the Thorax plate carrier for buyers ready to graduate to armor.
Add the D3CRH (Heavy Chest Rig) to your build and see how it enhances your platform.
