SLR Rifleworks ION Ultra Lite

The SLR Rifleworks ION Ultra Lite is the handguard that competition shooters keep coming back to. The seven-sided extrusion puts M-LOK slots at every usable angle, while aggressive lightening cuts and vent holes trim mass without giving up the rigid slip-fit lockup that defines SLR rails. The current 15-inch catalog baseline is the Gen 5 ION14.87ML-UL, with a 14.87-inch exact length and a 1.35-inch inside diameter.

SLR's slip-fit mounting system slides the rail over a 7075 hardcoat-anodized barrel nut, where an anti-rotation insert and mounting screws lock everything solid. No timing, no shims, no wrestling with proprietary torque specs. The 1.35-inch inner diameter accommodates most low-profile gas blocks and fits all mil-spec forged receivers and most billet receivers.

The current Gen 5 15-inch model uses a continuous top-rail design that allows optic mounts to bridge the receiver and handguard threshold, with M-LOK around the sides, bottom, and 45-degree flats. Two limited-rotation QD sling sockets are machined into the rail body. Available in multiple lengths, the ION Ultra Lite is built for shooters who weigh their rifles in ounces and their split times in hundredths.
