B.E. Meyers MAWL C1+

The B.E. Meyers MAWL-C1+ represents the world's first commercially available NIR and visible green laser aiming device using Class 1+ technology. This groundbreaking system features cutting-edge VCSEL technology that eliminates the inconsistent, granular speckled illumination common in traditional IR devices, providing smooth room-filling illumination with no discernible edges or excessive bloom. The MAWL-C1+ integrates an 860nm IR illuminator, 852nm IR pointer, and 520nm green visible pointer in a compact package measuring just 0.37 inches above the rail—lower than any competing device.

The modular design allows the head and tail to separate from the body, trade places, and be reassembled on the opposite side for true ambidextrous operation. Eight operating modes (expanded from the original six via "TripleClick" settings) provide users with extensive operational flexibility depending on environment and application. Short Range mode optimizes for room-to-room engagements with smooth illumination, while Long Range mode delivers tight divergence with high power for open environments or punching through strong ambient illumination.

Built from hardcoat anodized 6061-T6 aluminum and IPX8-rated to 20 meters submersion, the MAWL-C1+ meets MIL-STD 810G compliance for environmental durability. The tool-less tailcap allows battery removal and replacement without tools, enhancing field serviceability. At approximately $3,280, the MAWL-C1+ represents a significant investment, but delivers more infrared illumination output power than any other FDA Class 3R or Class 1 laser on the commercial market.
