Overview
The KDG SIDELOK Aimpoint PRO mount replaces the fixed ring base that ships on the Patrol Rifle Optic and the CompM4 with a quick-detach unit at a 1.57-inch centerline. Both of those Aimpoints use a 30mm body and a captured factory base that requires a wrench to remove, so a shooter who wants to pull the optic for transport, backup-iron work, or a night vision swap has to change the mount.
The SIDELOK release is a guarded push-button cam rather than a throw lever, which keeps the profile flush with the receiver. KDG states the mount returns to zero when reinstalled in the same rail position. It weighs 4.1 ounces and wears a black anodized finish.
KDG lists the Aimpoint Patrol Rifle Optic, the Aimpoint CompM4, and the SIG Sauer Romeo7 as the optics this mount accepts.
