TANDEMKROSS Game Changer PRO Compensator 9mm (1/2x28)

A 9mm carbine does not recoil hard, but it does move, and on a PCC stage the time cost is entirely in how long the dot takes to settle between targets. The Game Changer PRO is a steel comp built for that specific problem on the Ruger PC Carbine and similar 9mm competition guns.

It works two ways at once. The mass is the first half: at 2.83 oz of steel hung at the muzzle, the comp shifts balance forward and damps the muzzle flip that a light polymer-stocked carbine produces. The porting is the second half. Gas vents at dual 45 degree angles, which pushes the muzzle down without throwing blast straight up into the sight picture the way a top-vented brake does, so the shooter keeps a clear view of the target through the shot.

TANDEMKROSS applies a proprietary Easy-Clean coating, which is a real consideration on a comp: carbon bakes onto a 9mm compensator quickly and a coated one comes clean without a long soak. Dimensions are 1.5 inches long and .99 inch in diameter, and finish options are black, gold TiN, or stainless.

The hardware detail is worth reading. The comp ships with both a flat washer and an O-ring. On firearms using a thread adapter, or with a thin-profile barrel, TANDEMKROSS recommends installing the flat washer, then the O-ring, then the comp. On fixed barrels with a diameter over .800 inch the flat washer is usually not needed. Two hard limits: this comp is 9mm only, and using it with any other caliber risks serious injury; and it is designed for fixed barrels, with pistol compatibility not guaranteed on tilting-barrel designs.
