Multispectral binocular pairing a 640x512 thermal channel with a 4K day/night digital channel and a 1000 m rangefinder
The AGM ObservIR LRF 35-640 combines a thermal channel and a digital day/night channel in one binocular housing. The thermal side uses a 640x512, 12-micron sensor with NETD below 15 mK at 50 Hz behind a 35mm F1.0 lens, giving 3x base magnification, digital zoom to 22x, and a 12.5 x 10.1 degree field of view (66 x 53 ft at 100 yards). The digital side uses a 3840x2160 ultra-low-light CMOS sensor with a built-in long-range IR illuminator, so a heat signature found on thermal can be checked in color by day or under IR at night. Both are shown on a 1920x1080 OLED display.
A built-in laser rangefinder reads to 1000 m, and an integrated GPS module adds position reference. Picture-in-picture, six color palettes including Fusion, 64 GB of storage, Wi-Fi, and USB-C external power round out the feature set. Two replaceable 18650 cells run it for up to 8 hours, and AGM includes four cells plus a charger and tripod adapter. The housing is IP67 rated and weighs 2.01 lb. AGM rates detection at 1800 m.
