Overview
The Bergara BMR-X Carbon is the light precision option in Bergara's rimfire line. Its scaled-down Micro Rimfire action sits in a BMR-X stock with adjustable length of pull, and the 18-inch No. 6 carbon-fiber barrel holds starting weight to 5.7 pounds. The Bergara Performance Trigger is externally adjustable.
The .22 LR barrel uses a 1:16 twist and has a threaded muzzle. Bergara includes a 30 MOA rail plus both a 5-round and a 10-round magazine. At 38 inches overall, the rifle weighs less than the 6.8-pound Ruger Precision Rimfire.
Choose the BMR-X Carbon over the Ruger Precision Rimfire when lower weight and a carbon-fiber barrel lead the decision. The Ruger answers with a factory Picatinny base, Ruger 10/22 magazine compatibility, and a stated 15-round capacity.
