Overview

The B-14 Hunter is Bergara's pitch to anyone who wanted the B-14 accuracy story in a true suppressor host. The 18-inch threaded barrel on the .308 variant keeps overall length manageable with a can hanging off the muzzle, which is the configuration most hunters actually run after the OBBBA zeroed the NFA tax on suppressors. The 22-inch variants in 6.5 Creedmoor, .30-06, and .270 add velocity for longer field shots without changing the action or trigger.

The glass-fiber-reinforced polymer stock is the major divergence from the Ridge. It is lighter, more compact, and has a flatter forend for shooting from a pack frame or against a tree stand rail. Like every B-14, it carries the Remington 700 footprint, so trigger upgrades, scope bases, and even chassis swaps drop in. The factory trigger is adjustable between 2.6 and 4 pounds, which is enough for most hunters to skip the aftermarket upgrade entirely.

Key Features

  • 18-inch threaded barrel on .308 / 7mm-08 keeps the suppressed package short

  • Glass-fiber-reinforced polymer stock with aluminum bedding
  • Adjustable factory trigger from 2.6 to 4 lb
  • Remington 700 footprint for trigger, chassis, and scope mounting aftermarket
  • 5/8x24 thread protector and thread cap included

Pros

  • +Short threaded barrel makes this the right Bergara for suppressed deer work
  • +Sub-MOA accuracy without giving up packability
  • +Adjustable factory trigger eliminates the typical first upgrade
  • +Remington 700 footprint opens the full aftermarket

Cons
