FN 15 Military Collector M4

The FN 15 Military Collector M4 is the civilian semi-automatic version of the actual issued U.S. military M4A1, made on FN America's M4A1 prime-contract production line in Columbia, South Carolina. FN has held the U.S. M4A1 contract since 2013, and this rifle uses the same button-broached chrome-lined 14.7-inch barrel (extended to 16 inches with a pinned-and-welded A2-style compensator), the same UID-labeled hard-anodized aluminum lower receiver with ambidextrous selector, the same KAC M4RAS Adapter quad-rail handguard with rail covers, and the same A2 front sight base and adjustable rear sight as the military rifle. The only functional difference is fire control: the civilian Military Collector is semi-automatic only, where the issued M4A1 has a safe/semi/full-auto selector. If you specifically want "the FN-built M4A1" rather than "a civilian rifle that looks like one," this is the closest you can buy. The pinned-and-welded compensator means no realistic suppressor host without removing the welded muzzle device, and the M4RAS quad rail is heavier and less modular than current M-LOK free-floats, but the production-line pedigree and UID lower are unique to this rifle.
