Compact open-emitter carry optic on the RMSc footprint with red, green, and MRS variants

The SIG P365 XL uses the Shield RMSc footprint, SIG's Compact cut, milled directly into the 3.7-inch slide. Every XL model SIG lists is optic ready and carries that same cut, so an RMSc-pattern dot bolts to the slide with no plate and no spacer under it. The longer slide gives an enclosed carry optic more room than the 3.1-inch P365 slides do without changing the interface underneath. Two families need help: the Trijicon RMRcc rides the Maple Leaf P365 RMRcc adapter plate, and Holosun's K-pattern optics need their own hardware, because the lug counts on the two bases do not match.
The RMRcc is the trap on this pistol. It is a Trijicon micro dot sized for slim slides, which leads people to assume it drops into an RMSc pocket, and it does not. Maple Leaf lists its P365 RMRcc plate for the P365X, XL, XMacro, Fuse, and AXG Legion slides, and specifically not for the California-compliant P365 slide with the manual loaded chamber indicator, model 365-BXR3P-CA. Confirm which slide you own before you order plate hardware for it.
These optics carry the Shield RMSc footprint the slide is cut for. Screws, recoil bosses, and pocket all line up, so they seat on the slide with no plate.

The XL adds slide length, barrel length, and sight radius over the P365X, which changes holster fit and how a full-size enclosed dot looks on the gun, not what bolts to the pocket.
Maple Leaf ships one set of M3x0.5x8mm and one set of M4x0.7x8.64mm screws to secure the plate to the slide, covering the factory cut revisions, plus a pair of 5-40x0.375 screws to secure the RMRcc to the plate. That plate is RMRcc-only; a full-size Trijicon RMR uses a separate P365 plate.
