SIG P365 Fuse optic footprint: what red dots fit
The SIG P365 Fuse carries the Shield RMSc footprint, which SIG lists as the Compact cut, milled straight into its 4.3-inch slide. An RMSc-pattern dot bolts to the slide with no plate under it, which is the lowest and stiffest mount available on this pistol. The Fuse gives that footprint the longest slide in the P365 line, so a full-size enclosed optic has more room here than it does on the 3.1-inch guns. The Trijicon RMRcc is the popular micro dot on a different pattern, and it mounts on the Maple Leaf P365 RMRcc adapter plate.
Fuse models split on whether the optic is already there. SIG lists 365XF-9-BFO-RS with a ROMEO-RS fitted and 365XF-9-BFO-RXSL with a ROMEO-X SIG-LOC Compact fitted, while 365XF-9-BFO leaves the pocket empty for the dot you pick. Buying an equipped model settles the optic at the counter. If you want the RMRcc instead, Maple Leaf names the Fuse slide among the slides its P365 plate fits, and excludes the California-compliant P365 slide with the manual loaded chamber indicator.

Do I need an adapter plate to mount a red dot on the SIG P365 Fuse?
Only for some optics. The SIG P365 Fuse slide is cut for the Shield RMSc footprint, so Shield RMSc optics bolt straight to the slide with no plate. Optics that do not share that locating pattern, the Trijicon RMRcc among them, mount over an adapter plate that bolts into the slide first.
Does the Trijicon RMRcc fit a SIG P365 Fuse?
Yes, on a plate. The Trijicon RMRcc mounts on the SIG P365 Fuse using the Maple Leaf P365 RMRcc Adapter Plate. Install the plate to the slide first, then the optic to the plate.
Does the SIG Romeo Zero Elite fit a SIG P365 Fuse?
Yes. The SIG Romeo Zero Elite uses the Shield RMSc footprint that the SIG P365 Fuse slide is cut for, so it bolts straight to the slide with no adapter plate.
Is the P365 Fuse optic cut different from the P365 XL cut?
No. SIG describes the Fuse slide as optic ready in the Compact (Shield RMS-c) footprint, the same pattern it lists for the P365 XL and the rest of the optic-ready P365 line. The Fuse runs a 4.3-inch barrel and the longest slide in the family, so sight radius and holster fit change while the optic interface stays put.
Does a Holosun 507K or EPS Carry mount on the P365 Fuse?
Not as a bare drop-on. The Fuse carries the Shield RMSc pattern, which stands four recoil lugs in the pocket, and Holosun's K-pattern bases have two lug pockets, so two lugs have nothing to seat against. Use the adapter hardware Holosun ships with those optics. An RMSc-footprint dot, open or enclosed, bolts to the slide with nothing in between.
