Flux Glock Chassis: The Latest Update
Flux Defense is bringing its Glock system back, with preview images now circulating ahead of the new version. For Glock owners who have been waiting for a compact Flux setup, the biggest news is that the Glock and Ruger RXM projects are separate. The company confirms both in its FAQ, and its LinkedIn page lists Glock-compatible systems for 2026.
The latest teaser is a blurred photo reposted on October 1 under the title “It's Glocktober.” The screenshot attributes the post to Alex Aubrey in the Flux owners group. A clearer dealer-video screenshot had already appeared in September, showing a Glock with a rear brace and a spare magazine carried ahead of the trigger guard.
Release Timing and Reported Glock Fitment
October is the release window being discussed in the latest community posts. In the October 1–2 “Soon” thread, Holiday-Mind-2406 says “this month” and claims native Gen 4 compatibility. Another commenter, Bill_Carson84, suggests Gen 4–5 full-size frames and names the G17, G19X, G34, and G45. A September commenter had put the timing at mid-October, citing conversations with Flux employees in another group.
Those dates and model lists are community claims, not a published Flux fitment chart. Flux's FAQ still gives no release date, and G19 fitment remains unanswered in the October thread. Before buying a donor pistol, wait for Flux to list your model and generation; the G19X and G45 mentions alone do not establish G19 compatibility.
What the Preview Photos Show
The clearer screenshot shows a Glock pistol frame with a brace extending behind the grip and a front assembly holding a spare magazine. A red dot sits on the pistol slide. That layout keeps the original Glock grip and slide in the center of the system, much like the original Glock Flux Brace, whose installation videos remain on Flux's website.

For a Glock you already own, the attachment points and clearance around its slide matter more than the product nickname. The familiar names “Gen 2,” “Mk II,” and “Glock Raider” appear across discussions of the upcoming system. Use the final model-specific fitment list to make the choice. Our Glock chassis guide compares the other conversion designs and their host requirements.

The RXM Is a Different Project
Flux lists the Ruger RXM version alongside the Glock version, rather than using RXM as another name for the Glock kit. Ruger's RXM has a removable stainless steel Fire Control Insert inside an interchangeable Magpul grip. The firing components can move into a different grip body, which gives a chassis maker a different starting point from the Glock-mounted brace shown in the previews.
That distinction matters if you are choosing a host. An existing Glock owner is looking for hardware that fits the pistol frame. An RXM owner has a modular grip system. Our Ruger RXM review covers the pistol, while the RXM accessories guide explains its upgrade paths. The comparison tool lets you compare host pistols separately from their chassis options.
