Overview

The Trijicon ACOG TA31 4x32 is the legendary combat optic that has served U.S. military forces since 1987, earning its reputation as the "never-fail" optic through decades of combat deployments. Its rugged forged aluminum housing, battery-free tritium/fiber optic illumination, and proven Bindon Aiming Concept (BAC) have made it the standard by which all combat optics are judged.

Unlike battery-powered optics, the ACOG's dual-illumination system uses fiber optics to gather ambient light during the day while tritium provides illumination at night - no batteries required, no electronics to fail. The fixed 4x magnification simplifies operation while the ballistic reticle provides accurate holdovers out to 800 meters for 5.56/.223 ammunition.

Built from forged 7075-T6 aluminum with minimal moving parts, the ACOG has survived being run over by vehicles in combat, endured over 37 IED blasts in armored vehicles, and continues to perform when other optics fail. As Major General J.N. Mattis stated, the ACOG represents "the biggest improvement in lethality for the Marine infantryman since the introduction of the M1 Garand."
