RMR-footprint enclosed-emitter carry and duty optic with a larger sight window

The Glock 19 Gen6 does not have a single optic footprint. It has the Gen6 Optics Ready System: a slide pocket of its own that takes a plate, with the red dot bolting to the plate rather than to the slide. Three polymer plates ship in the box, Plate 02 for the Trijicon RMR and Holosun 507C family, Plate 03 for C-More, and Plate 04 for the Leupold DeltaPoint Pro and EOTech EFLX. Machined aluminum and steel plates cover the four footprints the factory set skips: Aimpoint ACRO, Holosun 509T, Holosun EPS, and Shield RMSc / Holosun K. The trap worth knowing up front is that the ORS pocket is not the MOS pocket, so Gen5 MOS plates will not bolt in.
The factory plate is polymer, and it is the part most Gen6 owners replace first. There is no optic fence to take the recoil load, so shear drives into the optic mounting screws instead of bearing on the plate body, and a dot can walk off zero with the screws still correctly torqued and thread-locked. A machined aluminum or steel plate in the same footprint seats flush and spreads that load across the plate.
Trijicon RMR / Holosun 507C optics mount on the Glock 19 Gen6 through a plate in that footprint. Bolt the plate into the slide first, then the optic to the plate.

Yes, for almost every optic. The Glock 19 Gen6 mounts red dots through a plate system, so you bolt the plate matching your optic's footprint into the slide and then bolt the optic to the plate. Plates are available for the Trijicon RMR / Holosun 507C, Shield RMSc / Holosun K, Leupold DeltaPoint Pro, Aimpoint ACRO, Holosun 509T and Holosun EPS footprints.
Yes, on a plate. The Holosun 507C X2 is a Trijicon RMR / Holosun 507C footprint optic, so it mounts on the Glock 19 Gen6 using a matching plate such as the Glock Gen6 OR Plate 02 RMR and GlockStore GS C/RMR Plate for Gen6 Glocks. Install the plate to the slide first, then the optic to the plate.
Yes, on a plate. The Trijicon RMR Type 2 is a Trijicon RMR / Holosun 507C footprint optic, so it mounts on the Glock 19 Gen6 using a matching plate such as the Glock Gen6 OR Plate 02 RMR and GlockStore GS C/RMR Plate for Gen6 Glocks. Install the plate to the slide first, then the optic to the plate.
Yes, on a plate. The Holosun 507K X2 is a Shield RMSc / Holosun K footprint optic, so it mounts on the Glock 19 Gen6 using a matching plate such as the GlockStore GS K Plate for Gen6 Glocks and C&H Precision Gen6 RMSc / Holosun K Plate. Install the plate to the slide first, then the optic to the plate.
Yes, on a plate. The Holosun EPS Carry mounts on the Glock 19 Gen6 using a matching plate such as the GlockStore GS K Plate for Gen6 Glocks and C&H Precision Gen6 Holosun EPS Plate. Install the plate to the slide first, then the optic to the plate.
No. The Gen6 Optics Ready System is a different pocket from the Gen5 MOS cut, with different screw positions, and the two plate families do not cross over. A plate has to say Gen6 or ORS on it to fit a Gen6 slide.
If you run an optic, yes. The factory plate is polymer with no optic fence, so recoil shear loads the optic screws instead of the plate body and the dot can drift off zero with the hardware still torqued and thread-locked. A machined aluminum or steel plate in the same footprint fixes it, and metal plates are also the only way to get ACRO, 509T, Holosun EPS, and RMSc / K footprints onto a Gen6 slide.
