Daniel Defense MK18 RIS II

The Daniel Defense MK18 Rail Interface System II is the exact quad rail handguard used on USSOCOM's MK18 CQBR (Close Quarters Battle Receiver) weapon system. This rail was designed specifically to allow operators to free-float M203 grenade launchers without additional parts or permanent modifications to the host weapon. The RIS II has been rigorously tested by US Special Operations Command and adopted for the Block II SOPMOD program.

Built from aircraft-grade 6061-T6 aluminum with Mil-Spec Type III hard coat anodizing, the RIS II features Daniel Defense's patented bolt-up mounting system using six bolts for rock-solid attachment. The gas port and stress-relieved metal surfaces prevent heat-related damage to the weapon during sustained fire. The 9.55" length is optimized for carbine-length gas systems with 10.3" barrels.

Installation requires removal of the delta ring, handguard cap, and front sight post, with a low-profile gas block required for proper clearance. The RIS II provides Picatinny rails at all four positions for maximum accessory mounting flexibility. Available in Black and Flat Dark Earth finishes.
