Overview
The Colt CR6920 / 6920 Carbine is Colt's classic 6920-pattern commercial carbine. It keeps the familiar M4-style layout: a 16.1-inch 4150 CMV chrome-lined M4-profile barrel, direct-gas operating system, fixed A2 front sight, Magpul MBUS rear sight, Magpul MOE furniture, and 30-round PMAG where legal. Older LE6920 rifles carry collector and military-contract associations, but the current CR6920 is not the same TDP/fire-control package Colt supplied under legacy M4A1 contracts. The LE6920, CR6920, and EPR are distinct variants.
