The BCM 11.5" BFH (Barrel Forged Hammer) complete upper represents BCM's commitment to duty-grade reliability in a compact configuration. The 11.5" barrel length strikes an optimal balance for PDW builds, providing better ballistic performance than 10.3" alternatives while remaining highly maneuverable. This configuration is particularly popular for suppressed builds and folding stock applications.
The cold hammer forged barrel is manufactured to mil-spec steel standards per MIL-B-11595E, providing exceptional durability and extended barrel life compared to button-rifled alternatives. The chrome-lined bore and chamber increase velocity, resist fouling and corrosion, and significantly extend service life under high round counts. BCM's conservative gas port sizing ensures reliable cycling while minimizing wear on critical components, making this upper ideal for suppressed shooting.
The complete upper includes BCM's MCMR-10 (M-LOK Compatible Mounting Rail) handguard, providing a free-float design with abundant attachment points at the 3, 6, and 9 o'clock positions. The 1:7 twist rate effectively stabilizes heavier 5.56 ammunition including 77gr loads commonly used in short-barrel applications. Each upper arrives fully assembled, head-spaced, and test-fired, ready to install on any mil-spec lower receiver.
