The cold hammer forged barrel is manufactured to mil-spec steel standards per MIL-B-11595E, providing a durability-oriented upgrade over the standard BCM barrel rows. The chrome-lined bore and chamber help resist fouling and corrosion under high round counts.
The complete upper uses BCM's MCMR-10 M-LOK handguard, providing a free-float design with useful accessory mounting space around the shorter barrel.
