The DD4 RIIIS Upper Receiver Group represents Daniel Defense's latest evolution in short-barreled upper receivers, featuring their new RIS III M-LOK handguard system. Built around a cold hammer forged 11.5" barrel chambered in 5.56x45mm NATO with a 1:7 twist rate, this upper delivers exceptional accuracy and durability for duty, home defense, or recreational shooting applications.

The RIS III 10.5" handguard utilizes Daniel Defense's patented 6-bolt bolt-up mounting system, machined from 6061-T6 aluminum with Type III hard coat anodizing. The M-LOK attachment system provides superior weight savings compared to quad rail alternatives while maintaining the strength and modularity expected from Daniel Defense. The carbine-length gas system ensures reliable cycling across a wide range of ammunition types.

Every DD4 RIIIS ships complete with a mil-spec M16 profile bolt carrier group (MPI tested, chrome lined) and Daniel Defense's GRIP-N-RIP ambidextrous charging handle. The upper receiver is CNC machined from 7075-T6 aluminum with M4 feed ramps and indexing marks. A Daniel Defense flash suppressor in 17-4 PH stainless steel with salt bath nitride finish completes the package.
