The 14.5" cold hammer forged barrel features a pinned and welded extended flash suppressor to achieve 16" overall barrel length for non-NFA compliance, making this an ideal choice for rifle builds without SBR registration.
The carbine-length gas system matches the M4A1 RIII catalog configuration, while the RIS III 12.5" handguard offers generous rail real estate for lights, lasers, and accessories through its M-LOK attachment points. The full-length Picatinny top rail accommodates standard optic mounting solutions.
This complete upper receiver group includes Daniel Defense's M16 profile bolt carrier group (MPI tested with properly staked gas key) and the GRIP-N-RIP ambidextrous charging handle. Every component meets Daniel Defense's exacting quality standards, backed by their lifetime warranty.
