Overview
The DDM4 V7 LW (Lightweight) Upper Receiver Group represents Daniel Defense's answer to the lightweight rifle trend without sacrificing their signature build quality. The 16" cold hammer forged barrel features a lightweight profile that reduces overall weight while maintaining excellent accuracy for defensive and sporting applications.
The mid-length gas system provides smooth, reliable cycling with reduced felt recoil and bolt carrier velocity, extending component life compared to carbine-length systems on 16" barrels. The MFR XS 15" handguard complements the lightweight theme with M-LOK attachment points and minimal weight, while the full-length Picatinny top rail accommodates any optic mounting solution.
This complete upper ships with Daniel Defense's M16 profile bolt carrier group and GRIP-N-RIP ambidextrous charging handle. The DDM4 V7 LW is ideal for shooters who prioritize maneuverability and reduced fatigue during extended use while still demanding Daniel Defense reliability.
