Arkansas Magazine Capacity Limit

Arkansas Code section 14-16-504 reserves regulation of the ownership, transfer, transportation, carrying, and possession of firearms, ammunition, and firearm components to the State. The section applies to a city, town, or county and preserves specified local discharge and emergency powers.

There is no federal magazine capacity limit; the 1994 federal assault weapons ban expired in 2004.

Scope: Detachable magazine round-count restrictions for handguns and long guns. States not listed have no capacity limit.
