Kentucky Magazine Capacity Limit

Kentucky Revised Statutes section 65.870 reserves regulation of the manufacture, sale, purchase, taxation, transfer, ownership, possession, carrying, storage, and transportation of firearms, ammunition, components, and accessories to the General Assembly.

There is no federal magazine capacity limit; the 1994 federal assault weapons ban expired in 2004.

Scope: Detachable magazine round-count restrictions for handguns and long guns. States not listed have no capacity limit.
