Nebraska Revised Statutes section 13-330 bars counties, cities, and villages from regulating the ownership, possession, storage, transportation, sale, or transfer of firearms and other weapons except as expressly provided by state law. Conflicting local ordinances are declared null and void.

There is no federal magazine capacity limit; the 1994 federal assault weapons ban expired in 2004.
