North Dakota Magazine Capacity Limit

North Dakota Century Code section 62.1-01-03 limits political subdivisions, including home-rule governments, from enacting firearm or ammunition rules more restrictive than state law on purchase, sale, ownership, possession, transfer, registration, or licensing.

There is no federal magazine capacity limit; the 1994 federal assault weapons ban expired in 2004.

Scope: Detachable magazine round-count restrictions for handguns and long guns. States not listed have no capacity limit.
