Michigan Magazine Limit: No Current State Cap

Michigan Compiled Laws section 123.1102 bars local units from imposing firearm or ammunition rules concerning ownership, registration, purchase, sale, transfer, transportation, or possession that conflict with state or federal law. The chapter includes limited exceptions for local conduct and property rules.

There is no federal magazine capacity limit; the 1994 federal assault weapons ban expired in 2004.
